Directions

Directions to Birmingham Airport Car Park 5 are simple, as it’s on-airport which means you won’t have to follow a separate road to get to the car park from the airport.

Exit the M42 at Junction 6:

  1. Head along the A45.
  2. Pick up signs for the airport.
  3. On arrival to the airport, follow signs to Car Park 5.

Arrival instructions

  1. Drive straight to Car Park 5 at Birmingham Airport - the car park now operates a ticketless system.
  2. Do not press for a ticket; the automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras will scan your vehicle’s registration and automatically raise the barrier.
  3. Ensure the registration number entered at booking matches your vehicle’s number plate, as incorrect details may prevent entry.

If you need assistance, press the help button located on the entrance column - a member of the customer service team will be happy to assist.

Pick-up bus stops from the car park currently operate from stops 2, 6, and 7.

Return instructions

 

  1. On your return, take the shuttle from bus stop B back to Car Park 5.
  2. Once you reach your vehicle, drive to the exit - the barrier will raise automatically.
  3. If the barrier does not lift, you may have overstayed or parked in the wrong car park. Any overstay will be charged at the standard tariff, payable at the exit lane using your card.

Important information

If you arrive earlier than your booked time, NCP Car Park 5 allows a 2-hour grace period. Any additional time may result in extra charges.

This car park cannot accommodate vans, minibuses, motorhomes, caravans, or trailers.

Security

Car Park 5 at Birmingham Airport is barrier controlled with ANPR for secure entry and exit. The site is fenced, covered by 24-hour CCTV, and monitored by on-site staff, ensuring your vehicle remains safe and protected at all times.

Disabled facilities

NCP Car Park 5 have plenty of space for blue badge holders. You will see blue badge bays to the left of the car park as you enter.

If you wish to take your blue badge on holiday with you, then you will first need to go to the NCP customer service desk in the Premium Set Down Car Park, where you’ll be given a permit to display while you’re on your break.

Vehicle restrictions

  • No height restrictions apply at this car park.

  • Standard cars are accepted, provided they fit within a standard parking bay.

  • Vehicles must be non-commercial with fewer than 8 seats and without trailers.

  • Minibuses, motorhomes, lorries, caravans, trailers, and any oversized vehicles exceeding bay dimensions cannot be accommodated.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Our Flexible booking option offers you the convenience and flexibility you need. Here’s how it works:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 24 hours before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on your adjustments.
