Directions

This is an on-airport car park, and so you can find Car Park 2 & 3 just off the A45. Once you find yourself on the approach to the airport, keep your eyes peeled for the signs for Car Park 2 & 3, which you will need to follow until you reach the entrance barrier. The detailed instructions below should help you find the car parks without any problems.

Exit the M42 at Junction 6:

  1. Proceed along the A45.
  2. Follow signs to the airport.
  3. On arrival at the airport, follow the signs for Car Park 2 & 3.

Arrival instructions

 

  1. Drive straight to Car Park 2 & 3 at Birmingham Airport - this is a ticketless car park.
  2. On arrival, the ANPR cameras will automatically read your vehicle registration and lift the barrier.
  3. Make sure the registration number on your booking matches your vehicle, as incorrect details may prevent entry.
  4. Park in Car Park 2 & 3 only to avoid any additional charges.

If you need help, press the assistance button located on the entrance column, and a member of the customer service team will be happy to assist.

Return instructions

 

  1. When you return, drive to the exit where the barrier will automatically lift to let you out.
  2. If the barrier does not raise, you may have overstayed or parked in the incorrect car park. Any overstay will be charged at the standard tariff.
  3. Additional charges can be paid at the exit lane using your card - ensure you choose the correct payment lane and have your registration number ready.
  4. If you need assistance, press the help button and have your booking reference ready. A member of the customer service team will be happy to assist.

Important information

If you would like to arrive earlier than your inputted arrival time, the NCP car park has an early grace period of 2 hours; Any additional time may result in additional costs.
 

Security

Car Park 2 & 3 is protected by electronic barriers with ANPR technology, allowing access only to registered vehicles. The site is fully enclosed by high-security fencing and monitored by CCTV and 24-hour security staff for complete peace of mind.

Disabled facilities

Blue Badge spaces are available on level 1, next to the pedestrian exit for easy access. Spaces are limited, so early arrival is advised. A lift is available to all levels, and assistance can be requested via the intercom on arrival.

Vehicle restrictions

  • Vehicles must be under 2.05 metres in height and fit within a standard parking bay.

  • Only non-commercial vehicles with fewer than 8 seats and without trailers are permitted.

  • High-sided vehicles, minibuses, motorhomes, lorries, caravans, trailers, or any vehicle exceeding the height or bay size limits cannot be accommodated.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Our Flexible booking option offers you the convenience and flexibility you need. Here’s how it works:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 24 hours before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on your adjustments.
