Directions

When it comes to directions to Birmingham Airport Car Park 1, it couldn’t be more straightforward. It’s located around the corner from the main terminal, so all you need to do is follow the airport signs off the A45 and then the signage for Car Park 1 upon your approach. The more detailed instructions below should help you find Car Park 1 with no trouble.

Leave the M42 at Junction 6:

  1. Proceed along the A45.
  2. Follow signs to the airport.
  3. On arrival to the airport, follow signs for Car Park 1.

Arrival instructions

  1. Drive to Birmingham Airport Car Park 1 - make sure you enter the correct car park.
  2. The car park is ticketless; ANPR cameras will read your registration and lift the barrier automatically.

  1. Drive to the exit - the barrier will lift automatically.
  2. If it doesn’t, you may have overstayed or parked in the wrong car park; charges apply at the standard rate. Please ensure you pay any extra charges by card at the exit lane.

If you would like to arrive earlier than your inputted arrival time, the NCP car park has an early grace period of 2 hours; Any additional time may result in additional costs.

Car Park 1 features high-security fencing, CCTV coverage, and electronic barriers with ANPR for controlled entry and exit, ensuring your vehicle remains safe and secure throughout your trip.

Disabled facilities

There are 30 Blue Badge spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis - simply follow the signs for Blue Badge parking near the exit. If you need to keep your Blue Badge while away, visit the customer desk for a temporary permit to display in your vehicle.

Vehicle restrictions

  • Vehicles must be under 2.1m in height and fit within a standard parking bay.

  • Only non-commercial vehicles with fewer than 8 seats are accepted.

  • No high-sided vehicles, minibuses, motorhomes, lorries, caravans, or trailers permitted.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Our Flexible booking option offers you the convenience and flexibility you need. Here’s how it works:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 24 hours before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on your adjustments.
